How to Delete Your Account

Option 1: Delete from the App (Recommended)

If you wish to delete your classta account and associated data, you can do so directly from within the app by following these simple steps:

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Open the classta App
    Launch the classta app on your device and ensure you are logged in.
  2. Go to Profile Page
    Tap on the "Profile" tab at the bottom navigation bar.
  3. Access Settings
    Scroll down to the "Settings" section on your profile page.
  4. Select Delete Account
    Tap on "Delete Account" option in the settings menu.
  5. Confirm Deletion
    Read the warning carefully and confirm that you want to permanently delete your account.

What Gets Deleted

When you delete your account, the following data will be permanently removed from our systems:

Immediately Deleted:

Firebase Authentication:

Firestore Database:

What We Keep (If Applicable)

In accordance with legal and operational requirements, the following data may be retained:

This action is permanent and cannot be undone.

You will lose access to:

  • All enrolled courses
  • Your learning progress
  • Your certificates and achievements
  • Any purchased content or subscriptions

Before deleting your account, we recommend:

  • Downloading any certificates you've earned
  • Canceling any active subscriptions
  • Exporting your learning progress if needed

Alternative to Deletion

If you're concerned about privacy or notifications, consider these alternatives:

  • Disable Notifications: Manage notification preferences in Settings
  • Update Privacy Settings: Control what data is shared in Privacy Settings
  • Temporary Break: Simply log out - your account remains inactive but recoverable
