How to Delete Your Account
Option 1: Delete from the App (Recommended)
If you wish to delete your classta account and associated data, you can do so directly from within the app by following these simple steps:
Step-by-Step Instructions
- Open the classta App
Launch the classta app on your device and ensure you are logged in. - Go to Profile Page
Tap on the "Profile" tab at the bottom navigation bar. - Access Settings
Scroll down to the "Settings" section on your profile page. - Select Delete Account
Tap on "Delete Account" option in the settings menu. - Confirm Deletion
Read the warning carefully and confirm that you want to permanently delete your account.

What Gets Deleted
When you delete your account, the following data will be permanently removed from our systems:
Immediately Deleted:
- Your account credentials (email, password, phone number)
- Personal profile information (name, photo, bio)
- Your enrollment records and course progress
- Your quiz attempts and scores
- Your favorites (courses, tutors, quizzes)
- Your earned points and achievements
- Your homework submissions
- Any settings and preferences
Firebase Authentication:
- Your authentication account will be permanently deleted from Firebase Authentication
Firestore Database:
- Your user document and all related subcollections will be permanently deleted
What We Keep (If Applicable)
In accordance with legal and operational requirements, the following data may be retained:
Temporary Retention (30 days):
- Backup copies in our automated backup systems (automatically purged after 30 days)
- Transaction logs for fraud prevention and legal compliance
Permanent Retention:
- Anonymized analytics data (with no personally identifiable information)
- Course reviews you've posted (anonymized - displayed as "Deleted User")
- Comments or discussions in public forums (anonymized - displayed as "Deleted User")
This action is permanent and cannot be undone.
You will lose access to:
- All enrolled courses
- Your learning progress
- Your certificates and achievements
- Any purchased content or subscriptions
Before deleting your account, we recommend:
- Downloading any certificates you've earned
- Canceling any active subscriptions
- Exporting your learning progress if needed
Alternative to Deletion
If you're concerned about privacy or notifications, consider these alternatives:
- Disable Notifications: Manage notification preferences in Settings
- Update Privacy Settings: Control what data is shared in Privacy Settings
- Temporary Break: Simply log out - your account remains inactive but recoverable
